Pac West Roofing has just completed an envelope renovation with Brachman
Developments for Carrera Management Corporation building “Watson
Manor”. The prior roof was a severally deteriorated 10,000 square foot
Tar and Gravel roof. This system was removed and replaced with IKO’s
mechanically Fastened 180g SBS Fast and Stick base sheet and 250g SBS
cap sheet to complete an approved RCABC 2-Ply SBS System. This was an
economical choice for our client that didn’t compensate quality.

Pac West Roofing signs a contract with the Great Canadian Gaming Corporation for the Envelop Rehabilitation Project for their Nanaimo Casino. The 21,000 square foot facility will have the current Tar and Gravel roof system replaced with an Inverted Roof Membrane Assembly. This assembly system will be installed onto the concrete decking. 2 plies of SBS will be installed, followed by Roof-mate insulation held down with ballasted gravel. This inverted system will allow for UV protection, which is the top degrader of all roofing membranes.
